Sri Lanka to get Estonia charter flight on Dec 20

A charter flight carrying tourist from Estonia will land in Sri Lanka on December 20, Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority Chairman, Priyantha Fernando said.

The aircraft operated by SkyUp Airlines has the capacity to carry 161 passengers, Fernando said.

From December 01 to 17 Sri Lanka had welcomed 100,750 tourists with around 6,500 arriving daily, over the last week.

Sri Lanka is expecting 1.5 million tourists in 2023 and 2.3 million in 2024. (Colombo/Dec20/2023)
