Citrus Leisure reveals opening plans for Lotus Tower’s signature spaces

Citrus Leisure PLC announced it would be opening the banquet hall and revolving restaurant at the Colombo Lotus Tower, both of which would be under its management, by this weekend.
In a stock market filing yesterday, Citrus Leisure said the banquet hall on the 26th floor and revolving restaurant on the 27th floor are expected to be opened on or around December 9, 2023.
The company in May said it entered into a management agreement with Colombo Lotus Tower Management Company (Private) Limited to engage in the management of certain spaces in the Colombo Lotus Tower.
The agreement, which was signed on May 31, was for a period of three years.

In terms of the agreement, Citrus Leisure is to provide services in the management of (1) banquet hall 1 on the 25th floor, (2) banquet hall 2 on the 26th floor, (3) revolving restaurant on the 27th floor, (4) six suites situated on the 28th floor and kitchen on the basement floor of the Colombo Lotus Tower.
The company said it was awarded the tender in response to a bid submitted by it, to an Expression of Interest, by way of a notice published in the newspapers.
