A documentary titled *Realm of Paradise* by New York-based journalist Anna Leonti highlights Sri Lanka as a premier travel destination known for its vacation hotspots. The film is an immersive exploration of the authentic Sri Lankan lifestyle, featuring ancient wisdom, Buddhist philosophy, the Sinhala language, herbal medicine, wildlife, vibrant culture, and remarkable regional cuisine.

*Realm of Paradise* grants viewers unique access to the country’s rich tapestry of cultures, ancient ruins, temples, traditional ceremonies, and dancing rituals. The film’s narration is presented from a Western perspective, while its visuals and soundscape authentically capture the essence of Sri Lankan culture.

The documentary was created by filmmaker Ravindu Hanwella in collaboration with Anna Leonti. Together, they aim to positively impact the lives of Sri Lankan people by boosting tourism and drawing attention to the country’s offerings for investors. Anna Leonti’s background includes studies in Entrepreneurship at the Academy of Marketing in Moscow, Russia, and Journalism at Fordham University in New York, USA. She has worked at the United Nations Headquarters in New York and has extensive experience in journalism, branding, and image consulting.

Ravindu Hanwella combines modern filmmaking techniques with a deep understanding of Sri Lankan traditions, applying a hands-on approach throughout every stage of the film’s production to authentically portray real life.
