The Jaffna International Airport (JIA) marked a historic milestone yesterday by welcoming its first international charter flight from Chennai, India.
Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) (Private) Limited (AASL) said that this achievement enhances regional air connectivity and paves the way for increased international travel to northern Sri Lanka.
With this successful arrival, JIA is now officially open to international charter flights, fostering economic growth and boosting regional tourism.
